October's 'Top Tip' for a Flourishing 2008!

The Public Health Delivery Team is offering a 'top tip' every month in 2008 to enhance your mental health and to help you to make this year a happy and healthy one.

October's top tip is: ‘Accept your friends as they are’.

Feeling good about your self and other people is an important aspect of positive mental health.

The way that we treat other people can affect the way that people feel about themselves.

Learning to accept other people as they are will protect mental health for everyone.

Community Wellbeing Officer – a pioneering new partnership project with Primary Care Trust and local housing association.

The Community Wellbeing Officer is a new project launched in partnership with Halton & St Helens Primary Care Trust and Helena Partnerships, a local housing association.

This two-year project is part of a much larger remit to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the local population and ties in with the mental health promotion strategy for Halton and St Helens.
