Lifestyle Team (Alcohol) - Open Day.

The Lifestyle Team will be hosting an Open Day on the first Friday of every month commencing on the 6th of August.

This will be held in the Millennium Centre (St Helens town centre) on the first floor in room 10 between the hours of 9.30 to 12.00. Its open to everyone and its aim is to discuss the service we provide and answer any questions you may have about referrals, treatments avaliable or just wish to know a little more about interventions the service offers.

We are inviting organisations working with groups in the Borough to apply for funding (up to £500) to support innovative activities, which will help people to choose a healthier lifestyle.

Confidence and Assertion Course

Women Supporting Women are offering a new Confidence and Assertion Course on Monday April 19th at 10am. If you have any clients/service users who you feel may benefit from such a course we are now taking referrals.

The course will run for ten weeks Monday mornings 10 – 12 and due to successful funding this course is free for anyone who wishes to attend. We accept email or phone referrals. I look forward to hearing from you.

The North West Mental Wellbeing Survey was undertaken in response to a growing need to understand more about positive mental health and wellbeing. With a total sample of 18,500 people across Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside, the survey is the largest, most significant and detailed investigation of the region’s mental health and wellbeing ever undertaken.
