Below is a list of events taking place to mark World Mental Health Day 2008 in St Helens:

'Celebrating Wellbeing in Style' - a day of fun activities for everyone including poetry, craftwork and a fashion parade. Organised by the Oasis Group and Together St Helens. Date: Monday 6th October 2008 Time: 10.30am - 2.30pm Venue: The United Reform Church, King Street WA10 2JZ

'I Care About...' An information event for anyone who supports another through mental health problems. Date: Wednesday 8th October Time: 10.00am - 6.00pm Venue: Millenium House Community room, Bickerstaffe Street WA10 1HJ (4.00pm  - 6.00pm is specifically for young carers).

'World Mental Health Day Celebration Event' - To mark World Mental Health Day in St Helens. Date: Friday 10th October Time: Throughout the day. Venue: Heath Park Lodge Resource Centre, Thatto Heath Road, WA10 3QS.

 'World Mental Health Day Walking Event' - Organised by the Social Inclusion Team in association with the Dual Diagnosis CIC. Walking through Sankey Valley in Blackbrook and finishing at the Fiddle I'th Bag Pub in Burtonwood. Date: Friday 10th October Commencing: 12.30pm at the Ship Inn Pub in Blackbrook. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a bottle of water.
